World Gay Boxing Championships
Martin is the Founder and CEO of the World Gay Boxing Championships, which he set up to increase LGBTQIA+ participation and lead change in the sport. Martin successfully delivered the world’s first two boxing competitions for the LGBTQIA+ community in Sydney and Chicago,
Martin is also a seasoned commercial negotiator with 15 years of experience as an IT Procurement Leader. He was diagnosed with Addison’s disease in 2006, shortly after having been placed in two induced comas and living through his worst fear – a tracheotomy. His near-death experiences have driven him to lead the positive changes he wants to see in the world.
